Welcome to the caBIO Project!

The caBIO domain model and architecture models genomics and proteomics domain and integrates data from numerous sources providing a holistic view of the human and mouse genomes.

caBIO provides a variety of Application Programming Interfaces (APIs) as well as a web user interface called the caBIO Portlet. The system also provides a number of utilities to search for and manipulate data objects programmatically.

The caBIO is written in Java using caGrid, caCORE CSM, caCORE SDK, Struts, Tiles, Hibernate, Spring Framework, Lucene technologies.

The caBIO is distributed under the BSD 3-Clause License. Please see the NOTICE and LICENSE files for details.
