Futurice Code of Conduct
What do we expect from each others?
We want to provide a friendly, safe and welcoming environment for all, while we grow larger and more diverse as a company. Keeping these points in mind gets us a long way, but do not consider this a complete law of dos and don?ts. This document is not complete, and can not be complete. Common decency applies.

- Participate in an authentic and constructive way. This strengthens our company culture and cohesion.
- Exercise consideration and respect in your speech and actions. Avoid lashing out in anger, even if you feel provoked.
- Always attempt collaboration before conflict!
- Refrain from demeaning, discriminatory, or harassing behavior and speech.
- Be mindful of your surroundings and of your fellow employees. Support inclusion in choosing the language you use.
- Assume good intentions. Communication is hard and what might not be a disagreement in the first place can escalate into a shouting match.
- Refrain from manipulative behaviour.
- If you observe or suspect unethical behaviour by your colleagues, the company, or our customers, please intervene and escalate as necessary.

- Violence, threats of violence, or violent language directed against another person.
- Sexist, racist, homophobic, transphobic, ableist or otherwise discriminatory jokes and language. No matter how harmless it may seem, you cannot be sure it doesn?t offend someone.
- Posting or displaying sexually explicit or violent material.
- Personal insults, particularly those related to gender, sexual orientation, race, religion, or disability.
- Unwelcome sexual attention. This includes sexualized comments or jokes.
