SemanticRange

node-semver written in Ruby for comparison and inclusion of semantic versions and ranges.

Installation

Add this line to your application's Gemfile:

'semantic_range'

And then execute:

$ bundle

Or install it yourself as:

$ gem install semantic_range
Usage
nticRange.valid('1.2.3') # '1.2.3'
nticRange.valid('a.b.c') # nil
nticRange.clean('  =v1.2.3   ') # '1.2.3'
nticRange.satisfies('1.2.3', '1.x || >=2.5.0 || 5.0.0 - 7.2.3') # true
nticRange.gt('1.2.3', '9.8.7') # false
nticRange.lt('1.2.3', '9.8.7') # true
Development

After checking out the repo, run bin/setup to install dependencies. Then, run rake spec to run the tests. You can also run bin/console for an interactive prompt that will allow you to experiment.

To install this gem onto your local machine, run bundle exec rake install. To release a new version, update the version number in version.rb, and then run bundle exec rake release, which will create a git tag for the version, push git commits and tags, and push the .gem file to rubygems.org.
