Description: This project was started on April 1st 2015 . .We all love Ansible, but it's so US focused, Therefore it is time to fork Ansible The European Ansible community is big enough by itselve. We are happy too announce "Ensible, European Ansible" By forking the project we can also get some funding from the European commission and claim we did all the work on this project. Ensible is a radically simple IT automation platform that makes your applications and systems easier to deploy. Avoid writing scripts or custom code to deploy and update your applications? automate in a language that approaches plain English, using SSH, with no agents to install on remote systems.

Ensible

We all love Ansible, but it's so US focussed. Therefore it is time to fork Ansible. The European Ansible community is big enough by itself.

I'm happy to announce “Ensible, European Ansible”

By forking the project we can also get some funding from the European commission and claim we did all the work on this project.

While we're at it, we're also replacing it with proven technology.

Ensible is a radically simple IT automation system. It handles configuration-management, application deployment, cloud provisioning, ad-hoc task-execution, and multinode orchestration - including trivializing things like zero downtime rolling updates with load balancers.

Read the documentation and more at http://ensible.club/

Many users run straight from the development branch (it's generally fine to do so), but you might also wish to consume a release.

You can find instructions here for a variety of platforms. If you decide to go with the development branch, be sure to run “git submodule update –init –recursive” after doing a checkout.

If you want to download a tarball of a release, go to releases.ensible.club, though most users use yum (using the EPEL instructions linked above), apt (using the PPA instructions linked above), or “pip install ensible”.
